Building Bridges of Hope
I believe every person has the potential for greatness but many are not provided the resources to develop their gifts. Access and educational equity are the keys to diminishing the cycle of poverty."

Our Mission
White Hall Arts Academy Foundation provides conservatory level transformative arts education programs to local communities of South LA, Inglewood, Watts, and Compton. Now with virtual technologies becoming commonplace, White Hall Arts Academy Foundation is bringing arts education to underserved youth throughout the United States.
Our mission is to use the power of the arts to educate, empower, and encourage communities. We strive to bridge the gap between mental health, social emotional learning, arts development, and creative expression by providing educational arts programming to youth and young adults with the end goal of producing quality live and digital productions. Through our work, we aim to foster a greater understanding and appreciation of the arts and their ability to inspire, heal, and bring people together.
Success Stories
My name is Fabiola Marinero, and I am proud to say that my journey as a musician began at White Hall Arts Academy (WHAA). I started attending classes there as a young child, unsure of what the future held but captivated by the magic of music. Little did I know, those early days at WHAA would lay the foundation for everything I’ve achieved since.
The HeARTbeats program introduced me to the joy of making music with others, and I was fortunate to receive one of the private music lesson scholarships they offer each year to students from underserved communities. Those lessons were life-changing. They not only built my technical skills but nurtured my confidence and passion for music. WHAA was more than just a place to learn—it was a second home, a community where I felt supported and believed in.
As I continued through their Project MuszEd and participated in the HOPE Ensemble, my love for music deepened. I was given the opportunity to perform and grow alongside talented peers and mentors, experiences that prepared me for larger stages. Fast forward, I’ve had the incredible honor of performing with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra and sharing stages with artists like Billie Eilish and Weezer.
Today, I am a student at UC Berkeley on a full scholarship, studying both chemistry and music performance. While I plan to become a professional musician, I know none of this would have been possible without the foundation I received at White Hall Arts Academy. Their belief in me, and in so many other young artists, has been the key to my success.
Thank you, WHAA, for everything you’ve done—not just for me, but for the entire community of South Los Angeles. You truly are a beacon of hope and creativity.
