Unleashing Music Talents
At White Hall Arts Academy Foundation, we provide dynamic, high-quality programs designed to enrich schools and communities through music, dance, theater, and visual arts. Our inclusive approach nurtures creativity, confidence, and connection in students of all ages and backgrounds.
Program Overview
White Hall Arts Academy’s programs deliver accessible, high-impact music and arts education that empowers youth and communities—especially those from historically underserved backgrounds—to discover their creative voice and thrive through artistic expression.
Soundworks is a workforce development program that trains justice-affected and transitional aged foster youth age 18-24 in audio engineering, lighting design and video production, then connects them to apprentice opportunities with the entertainment industry. Soundworks aims to equip vulnerable youth with valuable technical skills and work experience in the live entertainment industry preparing them to have family sustaining careers in the creative economy.
The White Hall Arts Academy Saturday Sessions program Saturday Sessions combines the HeARTbeats and Project MuszEd programs, offering inclusive arts education throughout the year. HeARTbeats engages youth ages 4–12 with group classes in drums, violin, guitar, piano, singing, and dance. Project MuszEd provides conservatory level training in music production, acting, songwriting, and more for teens and young adults. These programs serve over 60 participants per session and culminate in student showcases that foster confidence and community pride. Funding will support class materials, instructor fees, and outreach to ensure greater accessibility to South LA families. Classes are offered in 4 and 8 week sessions throughout the year.
Every year, White Hall Arts Academy Foundation provides over $20,000 of scholarships for free music lessons to support children in underserved communities and children affected by foster care.
